This is site is similar to the Google News Treemap. 10×10 evens out the viewing space for each story, makig it hard to really see what the top headline is. Conversely, the small nuggets of news are lost in the Google News Treemap, effectively giving you only the soundbites. Similarly, the NewsMap tool from NewsIsFree, where I get many RSS feeds.
