Hello, I am Ernie Oporto, a Security and IT professional based in Woodbridge Township, NJ. I have worked for various companies in tech, starting out as a helpdesk at PSU in 1991, then officially into sysadmin work with Sun systems, transitioned into PCs and VMware, working into lead and management IT roles as AWS and Azure and Google Cloud came around, as an Information Security contributor, and now working with various AI technologies in security and administrative and end-user roles.
This site is my home on the web since December 2, 1999, after moving my old Geocities page to this new page. How the times have changed!
